Fujifilm instax 210 Review/ vs NikonD40, Fujifilm instax 25

The Polaroid like Cameras are BACK!

Around 3 years ago i purchased NikonD40,
& Recently i got into the polaroid films and bought the Fujifilm instax 210
I love my instax 210 and i wanted to compare it to Fujifilm instax 25 and Nikon D40

Back and Front view of Fujifilm instax 210

First comparing it to NikonD40

Nikon: 552Grams (Without the lens) *I have the basic 18-55mm lens
Instax210: 650Grams (Without batteries)

Nikon: One of the basic beginner dslrs
Instax210: User friendly

Pictures taken of the same scene with both cameras
INSTAX 210

NIKOND40

Obviously the NikonD40 has better quality and sharpness. Both pictures had no editing done to them.
I personally like the polaroid picture better because i like the effect it gives.

Comparing with FujiInstax mini 25

I honestly really like the FujiInstax 210 way better than the mini 25 because of the filmsize.
I like that the film is twice as big as the mini 25, but i admit that the instax210 is way bigger and heavier as well.
When i first bought the instax210 there were no options of color or design.
The instax mini 25 had many colors to choose from and were easier to find.
But recently i did find out that the fujiinstax 210 came in a white hello kitty design.

Some places to purchase these cameras and comparing the costs.
(I happened to buy my instax210 off of amazon)

Even though the films are expensive i enjoy using my instax210
Here are some pictures i took with my camera

*I like to put my film back into the empty film case and use it as a frame (:

Cookie Monster Cupcakes (November update)

Step 1: Bake mini chocolate chip cookies
Preheat oven to 375°
Ingredients
2 1/4 flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup of chocolate chips
Bake for 9~10 mins until golden brown

1
Step 2: Baking Red velvet cupcakes (from the mix)

Step 3: Prepare eyes and hair of cookie monster
Put coconut flakes into a plastic bag with a few drops of blue food coloring and mix well & put it to the side
Also take some icing and put a few drops of blue food coloring in as well.
Lastly take some white candy melts from Michaels and put dots of chocolate for the eyes.
Step 4: Put it all together
To put it together.. Put a thin layer of frosting on top of the cupcake
then dip the frosted cupcake right into the blue coconut flakes
After it has dried for 10 mins glue on the eyes with a little bit of frosting on the back of the eyes.
Lastly cut open the mouth of the cookie monster with a knife straight across the cookie monster, then place the cookie inside the mouth. TADA~!

Christmas in the park 2011

I was extremely excited for Christmas in the park this year and it turned out to be a disappointment. There wasn't much to see and it was my fault for expecting it to be this GREAT thing i guess. . . But the hot chocolates were $3 for a small and it was alright~ Christmas in the park is aimed more for families with little kiddies and couples~
